The location was good- just hundred metres away u have museum of science, Victoria and Albert's museum. museum of natural history and so on. Albert Hall is actually next door, and thank to location i got to the famous BBC proms, taking place in Albert's hall. U can use sports center for free while staying there, which actually is very nice and well-equipped- it was so nice to start a day from a swimming, jacuzzi and sauna!:) Sport center is just around 300 metres from accomodation. Room was clean, had a private shower. Breakfast was good, usual range of food for student accomodation-cereals, fruits, jams, sausages, eggs, butter, juices, coffee and tea and so on. Shopping is also nearby- Kensigton High street, Harrods are only 15 minutes of relaxed walk.

Size of the room- was really tiny. Housekeeping- didn't really feel that there was one;) But it wasn't a problem for 3 days stay.

Staff are friendly and helpful but this is a student residence and you are in a dorm room. I don´t mind the hostel-like style (at least I had a private room) or sharing a bathroom but I found the 60-plus pounds per night a bit much. I was only given one teeny bottle of shampoo and one half-filled bottle of shower gel for two nights. A full English breakfast did come included, however, and that was a big plus. There was also a bar nearby the dorm rooms that served nice food and drink. Since it is a student bar, the prices are very reasonable. The location is also V. good; Beit Hall was next to a bunch of museums and Kensington Gardens. It was also quite close to central London and thus was easy to get to all the touristy spots your little heart desires (on the Circle & District Lines).

Very close to many museums and 10 min from Knightsbridge on foot.South Kensington tube station is 5 min,so even in one day from there you can see most of London.Quiet, clean and economic compared to others and given it's good location.Helpful staff. You can leave your sfuff at the reception after check-out,so you don't lose the last day.

It's actually not a hotel, but the campus of Imperial College.Breakfast is in another building,so I missed it.If you're not from UK,don't forget you need an adaptor for the plug!Wi fi not guaranteed in the rooms,so maybe bring a cable too for the internet.

Location. It'a a part of Imperial College.

It was very convenient for attending the Proms at the Royal Albert Hall, and was less expensive than hotels in the vicinity. It was reasonably comfortable, provided you accepted it as student-level accommodation. Breakfast was OK.

This was student accommodation trying to be a hotel and not succeeding. The receptionist, although helpful, was clearly a summer employee who did not know the geography and initially mis-directed us to our room. There were initially no towels in the room. There was a notice telling us not to drink the water, but the bottled water provided on arrival was not replenished on the next day. One of the bed-side lights was not working. There was no television in the room. There was a desk but only one chair. The toilet could have done with a good clean. Lighting was from a bulb with no shade. We felt that more needed to be done to ensure that a hall of residence acceptable to students in term time was properly presented for guests paying to stay during the vacation, if Imperial College wish to make money by pitching their charges close to those of a budget hotel.

My friend and I were going to the Proms at night and to the museums during the days. Situation perfect

Lifts often didnt work and as I was in a wheelchair and found stairs limiting we had some problems.

The location is excellent for Imperial College London, and the London museums. The price is good and the facilities good for the price.

On one side of the courtyard is a bar, and rooms facing on to the courtyard can be very noisy up until 11pm when the bar closes.

Great reception staff. Great breakfast. Cheap prices in Students Union bar.

Beds were rather uncomfortable - but adequate.

Close proximity to everything. Combine that with a very comprehensive tube system, and you can´t go wrong. I had a shared bathroom which was fine, no problems.

For the money you are paying and the area you are living in, you´d have to be a winger to say anything negative. Sure there were faults, but the overall package is worth the money. Great breakfast too!

      Location is very good

My room was only serviced on the first day, not on the other days. I felt breakfast was a rather 'hectic' affair, with staff trying to carry large tables through a small area where quests where also waiting to pay for breakfast/ to get breakfast utensils. I do not recommend staying here as a holiday guest, when there is also a conference going on at Imperial College at the same time.

I use it because of its location- right next to the Royal Albert Hall, and therefore handy for Promenade concerts. Fairly basic, as you'd expect, but comfortable- and an excellent breakfast is included. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a Student Union bar on site, and a cafe/restaurant elsewhere on the campus, about 5 min away.

The tap water in the room is marked as "not drinkable" and the adjacent kitchen is kept locked. Granted, they do put a 500ml bottle of water in the room at the start, but it wasn't replaced daily (not at the weekend anyway). A minor irritant for those who need to take pills morning and night, and/or like to keep hydrated.

The location near Hyde park was very good.

Value for money - staying in a student accommodation uni room for 62 quid a night is a bit outrages!

Location is perfect just beside the Hyde park in Kensington.

It was like a dormitory rather than a hotel... But fair for attending a conference in Imperial college...

A really good deal. Clean, comfortable and airy with a good size shower room. Very handy for the triangle of Kensington museums and the Albert Hall so if a culture lover it could be for you. Only downside is it is a looooong walk from South Ken tube!
